The difference between holidays at my (more urban) old school and (extremely rural) new school are: my new kids give only baked goods as holiday gifts to teachers! I feel bad that they do anything for teachers at all because so many families are struggling. It makes me feel as though I really do have to eat the rock hard chocolate chip cookies now!
