Teaching has been the most amazing thing in the entire world! The people in the music department are inspired and down to earth and so warm and welcoming. It's so cool to have classes respond to me as a teacher and not a sub or a student teacher. There's no question about my authority or education - the students accept that I can teach them.
Which means I need to realy study up on my guitar. I can do it, I'm just not as fast on it as I should be. I've been playing for under a year, so it's a little new. I'm better at the stuff for the guitar class that I'm NOT teaching.
I'm glad that I can challenge myself like this though - it only makes me better.
It has been a little hectic working a full time job plus school. I need to double check with the boss man to make sure he understands I neeeeeeeeeeeed only 4 shifts a week instead of 5. That's the make it or break it point for my sanity, I think.
I'm happy, but tired. I am hoping I won't get sick like I did the last time I overworked myself.
