I double checked with my contact at Clinique to see if they would have interest in rehiring me in North Carolina if my J.Crew transfer doesn't work. She said yes. So at least I still have options. That is good.
Nobody was at pub quiz tonight so we left. Bummer. I emailed a friend I hadn't heard from in a while and felt very good about myself. Usually I take the child's stance and just leave it. Pat on the back.
