Oooh 7th graders. I do enjoy you. Onto the high school kids - I heard them play today and I am very excited about how they sound. I also had 5 kids show up to help clean out the instrument storage room - because I can't lift more than 10 pounds with my strained back. I am so touched that these kids have the investment in the program to actually show up and do some seriously dirty work.
I feel as though I'm part of their lives already, by default.
