A laptop would also be handy when we are going off of a recipe. I could just carry it down to the kitchen, instead of printing out paper that gets wet when I spill lemon juice. Of course, the laptop would get wet too... but I hope I'd be smart enough to perch it in a safe place.

remember when I got my computer and mom let me "choose" if I wanted a laptop or a desktop? Should have forced her to go with what I wanted, it would have made the 12 moves since I started college a whole lot easier.
