My mom and I went to an Ani concert last night. I was pretty tired by the time we got there because I was up late the night before, but she was amazing! She played a lot of her older stuff, and her new stuff is a lot more optimistic than the last album I bought. She has a song for President Obama that was outstanding!
So, besides the requisite hippie dancing and the weird guy to my left making a game of clapping on the off-beats (kills me, it really does), I had quite the enjoyable evening.
