I hate mechanics. The guys at Duncan's Auto padded my estimate to get my car fixed (after I just spent $200 fixing the breaks). They charged 11.5 hours of labor at 700 dollars, $65 for coolant alone (HELLO I can buy 6 jugs of coolant for $20!). They also added in an oil change, miscellaneous shop parts... etc.
Totalling $1,900.
Who the HELL has that much money just lying around? Or even free on their credit cards....
My car hasn't even overheated in four days AND there's no antifreeze dripping under the car. So I think these mechanics are taking me for a ride.
