Wedding and Fireworks

So today begins the wedding season for me - playing in a wedding, then Lauren's wedding, then Jim's friend's wedding later this Fall. I am unsure what I am getting paid today... There was some discrepancy between what I was told and the other musician was told by the third musician. So we'll see. I hope it's what I was told because if it's not... I might have to sever ties with the third musician. Ethics is a big thing with me. Anyway.
I am wearing a dress I haven't worn since maybe my senior recital. The weight loss is up to 15 lbs, so I am right about where I was a year ago. Hopefully I can keep going since we are not being as strict as we were a year ago.
The paychecks are a little better from work the past two weeks - I feel like I can actually afford the life that I am living. Still not socking any away for savings though.
Jim and I are also entertaining the thought of not waiting a year to move, but to move to a location where he gets into school near a J.Crew. Then I can transfer and work on getting a teaching job there. We'll see. So far the options are Maryland, North Carolina, and Oregon. Based on my fear of geographical natural disasters, I think that North Carolina's hurricanes scare me a little too much and Oregon is right in between that huge fault line and the that huge volcano.
So just thinking.
Happy 3rd, and 4th.
