Post-Birthday

For those of you who use this to keep track of me because you are so far away, here's what's up. Jim gave me an amazing birthday weekend including two hour spa trip, a card from my cat, lunch at Olive Garden, an overnight at the Stowe Mt. Resort Lodge (not the Inn, but the condo's!) including a bottle of wine and home cooked meal sans the spices cause we forgot them in Burlington, then a trip to Middlebury where we celebrated with his family. Did I mention I had no clue any of this was happening and many of our car rides included blind-folds? Yeah, I have the best guy ever, and I had a great birthday. I did miss Lisa, Jodi, and my family. I got to hang out with Jodi yesterday at the fair (of course!), and went to Price Chopper with Lisa (of course again!), but I think I need to plan a trip to Brattleboro because I think my mom and dad feel left out.
I had four days off, I go back to work tomorrow. I plan on hitting the $250,000 selling mark this weekend which means that come October I will get a $1000 bonus and a free one month allotment of J.Crew clothes. Woohooo! I will be the first person at this location to hit that mark, and I am psyched!
Jim is still playing phone tag with Merril Lynch, and the more I think about it, the more I want to stay in Burlington and save for the move. We should move in together, I should find a teaching job for a year... just settle myself after the summers craziness and really make sure Jim and I are ready.
